Our Maine family keeps growing. First, our niece Ruth moved to take a position as a CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). Next, she met Chad Holbrook in mid-coast Maine (Rockland area) and started a family. After their first son Marcus was born in 2018, Ruth’s mother, Marti (Jani’s older sister) moved from Arizona to nearby Warren with her husband Paul.
In June 2020 Gavin was born. With their family growing, they purchased a house in Warren, and spent a much of this past year putting on an addition. (See the slideshow at the bottom of this page).
According to the Christmas card they sent recently, “The best is yet to come”:
Ruth and Chad are expecting a daughter in July of 2022!!

We visited Maine last April for Marcus’ 3rd birthday. It was also a chance to see how Gavin was progressing since his birth the prior June, and an opportunity to meet Chad’s mother, Tracy.
Since Jani’s sister and niece are now both in Maine, it is becoming a regular stop on our calendar each year; something we look forward to.
