When we haven’t been traveling we have tried to keep up with our commitments to the Connecticut Forest and Parks Association (CFPA) and the Litchfield Land Trust. Early in the summer we conducted trail inventories in areas on trail segments for which both groups have responsibility. At mid-summer we joined a CFPA project in Cornwall, helping to build a new bridge over Furnace Brook.
