Our Extended Family – 2023 Updates
As hard as it has been to visit all our extended family during the COVID years we do like to recognize them through photos and postings that we have gleaned over the past year. (The ones shown here only represent a fraction of our extended family, but they are the photos we have available for this past year.)
New Additions
Our niece Ruth (Hope, Maine) gave birth to Cora Jane in July and our nephew Eric’s wife, Keiran, delivered Myla Joye in November, in Spokane, Washington.
Next month our nephew Kent is marrying Siobhan O’Toole in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. to add one more to the extended family. Fortunately, there were no losses this past year.

Massachusetts

Jani’s brother Will and his wife Cindy live in Pittsfield. Their two daughters Lucy (17) and Rose (13). Rose will move up to High School next year and Lucy will matriculate to college from her present school, Miss Hall’s School, in Pittsfield. Both girls are very active in local dance drama and choral productions.

Maine
Our niece Ruth lives in coastal Maine, near Camden. She and Chad have two boys (Marcus (41/2 ) and Gavin (21/2 ) as well as a girl named Cora Jane who was born last July.

Virginia
Jani’s brother Martin and his wife Beth live in Virginia with their two girls AnnMarie(18) and Sophia(16). Sophia will be a Senior in high school next year and AnnMarie is finishing up her freshman year at LSU in Baton Rouge.

Sweden
Our niece Rebecca lives in Sweden with her husband Mattis and their 4 children Lilja(11), Noah(9), Troy(3) and Lova(1).

Washington
Our nephew Eric and his wife Keiran live in Eastern Washington with their daughter Zoë and their newborn girl Myla Joye Jahn, the newest member of the family. She was born November 11. Another nephew, Kent lives on the other side of the state, in Seattle, and is getting married to Siobhan O’Toole on Hawaii Island in February. We plan to be there with our boys’ families and that will probably be the next post we make to the blog.

Wisconsin
Our niece, Martha lives in Madison Wisconsin with her husband Nate and their two girls Aurora(9) and Madelyn(7).

California
Gary’s brother Matt and his wife Allison live in San Diego with their twin sons Landon and Matson. It is regrettable that we rarely get to see Matt and Allison, but were able to meet for lunch in Lee (Massachusetts) this past summer.
