It was a bit of a relief to get off the road and back on a dirt and rock-strewn path. Before long we reached Val Veny. Looking out, there was a stirring view that is unforgettable.
The hike back to the cars was much easier, and with the clouds coming in, the views were even more dramatic than on our ascent. All in all, it was another great day.
