Luca Turns 4!

Wyatt writes: “On January 29, Luca turned 4.  He celebrated at the local movie theater with his mom and four friends — the theater is closed for the pandemic but allows small screenings to stay afloat.  A rare silver lining of COVID!  The theater even put Luca’s name on the marquee.  The kids also ate homemade pizzas and made stuffed animal snakes.”

BIG YEAR FOR LUCA

“It has been a big last year for Luca.  He’s gone from quiet to a chatterbox, and his vivid imagination and sense of humor have come into full view.  He tells detailed and wild stories full of imaginary characters, including a friend named Mikey and an evil stepmother.  He runs everywhere at full speed and has a ton of fun making traps around the house with his brother. ”

“For half the year he went to a small, all-outdoor preschool, but that has been shut down and he has been spending a lot of time with the teacher and her daughter.  They explore local parks and spend a lot of time wading in streams and splashing in mud.  This past winter Luca has gone downhill skiing for the first time.  He’s been very excited about trips to Airbnb cabins and his new skills. “
