magnificent, their colors highlighted by the wet conditions. The lack of captions on most of the photos is evidence of my lack of knowledge of the flowering plants, but they were enjoyed nonetheless. It was a truly worthwhile and memorable visit.

When we left the park we were informed that the road we came in on had endured a landslide and we had to take an alternate route back.
