This was our first day, and since it was on a weekend, it was also the day we saw the most hikers. It was also our introduction to the fantastic rock formations and impressive Joshua Trees that dominate the park. We hiked the Hidden Valley Trail, a well trodden loop trail that featured many unique rock formations.
