Sara and Wyatt are both environmental lawyers, and they have both been able to work from home. Since they live on an island in Puget Sound, this has had the unintended beneficial consequence of eliminating the regular rush to meet ferry schedules to commute to their offices in Seattle. In fact, each has had more time at home, and given them an opportunity to better enjoy their lovely seaside home.

Their sons, Emmett (6) and Luca (3), have also benefited by having their parents at home. Emmett’s public school is closed, but he is part of a 4-student pod that has stayed active throughout the pandemic period. The teachers for this pod are their downstairs neighbors Lolo and Galen, both with post graduate degrees in the sciences.

Emmett and Luca are ready for any adventure, especially outside where they can explore for bugs, fish and, best of all, snakes.
